Aha, One Day Down, 'x' Days To Go

If the rest of the week goes like today did, I should be in pretty good shape... despite the opportunity to mess up big. I was determined to stay within my calorie range with food today. Things were going well. When I got hungry later in the morning, I decided to eat lunch. Shortly after I ate, I received a calendar reminder. I was supposed to have lunch with my former boss today. I couldn't just not eat. He invited me out to lunch, and that implies food.

Ultimately, I decided to just go with it, and have a second lunch. I got a salad, which was the best I could do under the circumstances. I had to skip my caffeine infusions today, but I kept within my calorie range for the day.

Exercise went well. I ran a mile (09:26), and did a Taekwondo class. I would like to start increasing my running distances, but it is a sparring week in Taekwondo - not a good week to exhaust myself.

I managed to make it out of class without serious injury, though I'm starting to feel a little snake bit. I missed the first 3 weeks of the current Taekwondo cycle because of injuries, and another week and a half recently. There's 9 weeks in this cycle. I've been injured for half of it. It's been an unusual time.

Let's see if I can have two good days in a row!

Exercise: 1 mile run (09:26), Taekwondo + sparring
Breakfast: Frosted mini wheats
Lunch: Teriyaki chicken sandwich, Asian chicken salad, soda
Dinner: Spaghetti and a bit of sauce
